IT ALL STARTED WHEN..
Cielo was just four years old, when with classical ballet classes, she began her love and passion for music and the arts, and since then she has maintained a special connection with music from different places.
As a child, in the Conservatory in contact with theory and with classical academic music; as a teenager, in contact with the theater and the role of music in the scene through musicals; as an adult, the electronic music crossed the road, capturing their attention, exploring different rhythms and sounds, meeting musicians with diverse styles and fascinating teachers; all this, today, is reflected in her music.
It has been 19 years since she settled in the city of Querétaro, and since her arrival in Mexico, she has continued her artistic work that she had been developing in Argentina. Cielo has participated in multiple artistic projects, (in private schools and universities as well as in public institutions) composing music, training students, directing or performing; what has enriched her not only as an artist, but as a person and has inspired her to compose and project all the emotions arising from these experiences in songs with beats, melodies and own lyrics.
Finally, after collaborating on different projects, over the years, she decided to present her own personal material, such as Cielo Pordomingo (curiously, the uniqueness of her real name allowed her to take it as a stage name).
In December 2013 Cielo presented D FRET her debut solo album, produced independently in Querétaro, of which she composed music, lyrics, choirs and arrangements, reflecting her soul, fusing electronic rhythms with orchestral elements. Thanks to the collaboration and participation of queretan musician and artist friends who believed in the project, its materialization and presentation was achieved.
During 2014 and 2015 she presented it in forums inside and outside Querétaro (sometimes in a reduced format and sometimes accompanied by musicians friends). She was received with excellent reviews in Germany, Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, the United States, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom. And allowed her to be a member of the Red Sounds of the World International Network (London, Britain UK); be included in four international compilations, and reach the Semi-Final in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) in the 2013 and 2014 editions.
In 2014 she was honored with the Emmy Award for Composition and Musical Arrangements for the television show Atención Atención of Puerto Rico.
In 2016 Cielo presented her 2nd. CD FUGALINE, with a tour in Mexico and Argentina.
Again it was included in four other international compilations.
She was awarded an Honorable Mention in the Instrumental category in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) in the 2016 and 2017 editions.
In 2017 she continued the tour of Europe, where she performed 10 concerts in cities such as Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, London and Paris. Concerts to which she took two of her queretan musicians.
In 2018 Cielo launched the digital ep R-MIXES & + with remixes of songs from her previous 2 albums, in which the producers Jay Jay Amaro, Miguel del Moral, Diego Ortega Septién and Tiny Bars of Soap participated. Again it was included in four other international compilations.
In 2018 and 2019 she performed at the Indie Week Canada Fest.
She won the 3rd. Place in the Instrumental category in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) 2018.
In 2019 Cielo presented MOIRAI, her 3rd. studio album, this time in vinyl record.
For the sixth year she reaches the Semi-Final at the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) 2019.
Artist selected for the Canadian Music Week Fest 2020, and was presented in the digital edition 2021.
In 2021 Cielo released R-MIXES II, the 2nd. digital ep of remixes with re-versioned songs from her 3 previous albums.
In 2022 & 2023 Cielo presented BLINKERLAND, her 4th. studio album.
Her first solo album, simultaneously represented a beginning and an end. The end of the search for a musical identity, and the beginning of the enjoyment of the development of a personal style, which today consolidates her vocation and her decision to continue expressing herself through music.
This constant and personal reunion with the music that is her soul, and with her affections, are the energy that allows her to breathe, live and love.
Todo comenzó cuando...
Cielo tenía recién cuatro años, cuando con clases de ballet clásico, comenzó su amor y pasión por la música y las artes, y desde entonces ha mantenido una conexión especial con la música desde distintos lugares.
De pequeña, en el Conservatorio en contacto con la teoría y con la música clásica académica; de adolescente, el contacto con el teatro y la función de la música en la escena a través de los musicales; de adulta, la música electrónica se atravesó en el camino, captando su atención, explorando ritmos y sonidos distintos, conociendo músicos con estilos diversos y maestros fascinantes; todo ello, hoy día, se plasma y refleja en su música.
Hace ya 19 años que radica en la ciudad de Querétaro, y desde su llegada a México, ha continuado su quehacer artístico que venía desarrollando en Argentina. Cielo ha participado en múltiples proyectos artísticos, (en colegios y universidades particulares así como en instituciones públicas) componiendo música, formando alumnos, dirigiendo o interpretando; lo que la ha enriquecido no sólo como artista, sino como persona y le ha inspirado a componer y proyectar todas las emociones surgidas de dichas experiencias en canciones con beats, melodías y letras propias.
Finalmente después de colaborar en diferentes proyectos, a lo largo de los años, se decide a presentar su propio material personal, como Cielo Pordomingo (curiosamente la singularidad de su nombre real le permitió llevarlo como nombre artístico).
En diciembre del 2013 Cielo presentó D FRET su álbum debut como solista, producido de manera independiente en Querétaro, del cual compuso música, letra, coros y arreglos, reflejando su alma, fusionando ritmos electrónicos con elementos orquestales. Gracias a la colaboración y participación de amigos músicos y artistas queretanos que creyeron en el proyecto, se logró su materialización y presentación.
Durante 2014 y 2015 lo presentó en foros dentro y fuera de Querétaro (a veces en formato reducido y a veces acompañada de amigos músicos). Fue recibido con excelentes críticas en Alemania, Argentina, Canadá, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, España, Estados Unidos, Italia, Japón, México, Perú, Polonia, Puerto Rico y Reino Unido. Y le permitió ser miembro de la Red Sounds of the World International Network (London, Britain UK); ser incluida en cuatro compilados internacionales, y llegar a la Semi-Final en el International Songwriting Competition (ISC) en las ediciones 2013 y 2014.

Su primer disco como solista, representó simultáneamente un principio y un fin. El fin de la búsqueda de una identidad musical, y el inicio del disfrute del desarrollo de un estilo personal, que hoy día consolida su vocación y su decisión por continuar expresándose a través de la música.
Este reencuentro constante y personal con la música que es su alma, y con sus afectos, son la energía que le permite respirar, vivir y amar.
